"America Remembers"

Montgomery County September 11, 2003 ceremony
Like many, I was deeply affected by the events of September 11th and wanted to do something to help. A few days after the tragedy, I composed a piece to honor the victims, their families and friends as well as all the brave Americans who helped in the aftermath. America Remembers uses themes from America the Beautiful and Yankee Doodle. It concludes with a chilling tribute to the four ill-fated planes.
America Remembers is easy enough for an amateur pianist and equally satisfying for a trained musician. This piece is not only for Americans but for everyone around the world who were affected by this tragedy.
Please tell your family and friends about this site. If you are a musician, play America Remembers and share it with other musicians, those in our military, firefighters, workers at the Pentagon and in New York and others. It would be especially gratifying if those personally affected by the events of September 11th could hear it and know that people in America and beyond will always remember what happened.
