Teaching a student with Down's Syndrome
Hi Michiko.
Thank you once more for the inspiring week in Aalborg.
As I told you, I needed the inspiration from you to discover (once again) that there is a reason why you have made the games up in an specific order. Just now I am practising the order of the games and translating the games to Danish. It´s really a good way of learning.
Last week I worked at a camp for handicapped children. I was inspired from the Unit 1 course in Aalborg (Denmark) and brought my Puppy Packet. We were two grown-ups taking care of four children. One of the boys - Nis - was a 17-year old boy with Downs Syndrome. One day I was practicing Music Mind Games and he came and sat down besides me. We started playing Fat Snake, Fix the order, What´s missing and Snake. We had a really good time playing these games. I will attach a couple of pictures where Nis is building a Fat Snake.![]()

Have a nice summer!

I just came across your blog and reading your beautiful words. I thought I would leave my first comment but I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Packs of game cards, teaching tips and guide cards are grouped together in a sturdy carry box. These materials are ideal for one student, small groups or classroom situations. It is excellent for each student to have their own. 642-647 | 642-661 | SK0-003 | HP0-Y30 | 642-982 | 000-105 | 70-401 | NS0-154 |
