Questions About Music Mind Games Materials

I am interested in obtaining some of the original Warner Bros. materials. Are they still in print and if so, where can I get them?

The materials shown on the back cover of the book Music Mind Games were published by Warner Bros. from 1992 - 2005. They went out-of-print when Warner Bros. was sold to Alfred Publishing Co in 2005 and remain out-of-print. Now and then these materials do surface, but it's quite rare to find them.

Are there plans to reprint any of them?

Michiko is preparing to release more materials in 2009: melodic bingo cards, rhythm bingo cards, blue jello rhythm puzzle, staff slates, paper pianos and a set of large blue jello cards. The melodic bingo cards, rhythm bingo cards, staff slates, paper pianos will be sold in sets of 12. They are currently being updated and will include game ideas, magic notes and magic wands.

What do you recommend I get now?

The Puppy Packet, available at this website, is Michiko's first phase of publishing the newly updated materials. With the Puppy Packet it’s possible to play many of the games in the book, plus learn new games from cards included with the materials. It's also a good idea to watch the videos on the website for tips on how to use the materials.
