Music Mind Games Student Handbook (also useful for teachers and parents)
This 40-page handbook is a great reference for all ages of students for everything they learn in Music Mind Games. In fact, it's a great reference for all ages of students who learn music. Teachers and parents will also find it very useful. Since each student should have their own copy, the handbook has been reasonably priced to help make this possible. With their own Puppy Packet of materials and this handbook, students will easily and happily gain a lot of reading and theory skills this school year.
There are numerous photos, illustrations galore, lots of reference charts and more than 150 music symbols and terms all clearly illustrated and with straight-forward definitions. It has all the up-to-date facts about Music Mind Games, the 9-year curriculum, tips for parents, tips for organizing classes and what to teach at various ages.
The 16 Handy Dandy reference charts are a valuable reference for blue jello rhythms and hand signs, intervals, Curwen hand signs, tempos, clefs, notes and rests, time signatures, names of piano keys, key signatures, intervals, Daily "Do", a chart of 11 Classic games and more.

The handbook does not include descriptions of games. Please refer to the book Music Mind Games and Michiko's upcoming book, Music Mind Games First Steps, for game ideas.
