Make a snake using rhythm playing cards with sixteenth, eighth, dotted eighth, etc. notes and rests. This game must be played before playing Slow and Speed (Second Steps)
Objectives:
Use review games to place notes and rests interchangeably in sequential order and reinforce the concept of the wraparound
Prerequisite Concepts:
8 notes and 5 rests and the concept of the wraparound - sequencing from whole note/rest to sixteenth note/rest. It's just like the tones of the scale, A B C D E F G A B C . . . and do re mi fa so la ti do re mi . . .
